About Road Safety GB Events

Road Safety GB is running four one-day conferences during 2020, plus the two-day National Road Safety Conference in Harrogate later in the year.

2020 Data Analysts' Conference
The 2020 Data Analysts' Conference, Joining the Dots, is being held in Birmingham on 3 March. Joining the Dots is organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with Agilysis. The conference has its own dedicated website where people can find out more and register to attend.

PTWs, rural roads & cycling
The other three one-day conferences are being organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with the DfT, and will focus on specific road safety issues and vulnerable road users: powered two wheeler riders, rural roads and cycling.

The topics have been chosen to reflect priorities in the Government’s road safety action plan, without duplicating existing road safety conferences.

The conference content will be geared towards road safety practitioners - principally local authority road safety officers, fire & rescue and police officers.

The delegate fees will be kept as low as possible to make it affordable for practitioners to attend - the emphasis is on delivering an excellent series of conferences that will enhance the knowledge and expertise of road safety professionals, rather than making a profit.

The conferences will be organised by the team at Stennik, which has successfully delivered the National Road Safety Conference on behalf of Road Safety GB, for the past 11 years.

The three conferences, all of which will be held at the RAC Clubhouse in Pall Mall, London, are:

PTW riders: improving safety and reducing collisions and casualties, will be held on 19 March 2020.

Rural roads: what are the dangers and how can we make them safer?, will be held on 2 July 2020.

Cycling in the UK: how can we increase participation and make cyclists safer?, will be held on 22 September 2020.
